Only a few days later I had another one at my doctor's office and that test was 0.82. Is the online lab test crappy?
Any experiences?

Also my sample took more than 2 weeks to arrive there.

I had to prick my finger to get blood. Like blood sugar testing.

First of all the TSH test changes throughout the day. If you had an afternoon test it could show your thyroid as being normal. Always test TSH in the morning when it's at its highest. The 0.82 you had is a normal result if it was a morning test, however if you are having hypothyroid symptoms I would ask for a free t4, free t3, and an antibody test. If all these are normal being above midrange free t4 and free t3 and no presence of antibodies, then you ca be fairly sure you do not have a thyroid problem.

Test ranges vary considerably. The finger prick is only TSH(which is the normal screening test used by docs anyway). So you need Free T4 and preferably TSI(antibody test) for any sort of diagnosis. How do you feel? Can you sleep? Does your heart race? There is an online group gravesdiseasesupport with lots of people who have been there and are way better than me at interpreting labs.

Online test? How is THAT possible? How do you test your blood online?

Go with the doctor's. It was an actual blood test that was sent to an actual lab. Never use anything on the Internet to diagnose any condition you think you have.

Need to give more info...but with what you have given...How on earth did you get an "on-line" thyroid test anyway? Sounds suspect to me. TRUST your doctor. He/she has absolutely no reason to purposely deceive or misdiagnose you...and I am sure also has much more accurate info about you.
