Okay ive been on welfare for 2 years and now I want to know should i get a job? I enjoy sitting on my butt partying but i dont think i should work a job thats only going to make me sweat and kiss peoples butts to please them! Should i get a job??

Get a ged or diploma if dont have one, Enroll in community college and find a fulltime job until you finish your career choices!!! Dont be an airhead!!

It is all about what you want out of life. Are you content just existing, just barely getting by. Don't you want the finer things in life? Do you have goals and aspirations of living a better life? What happens to you when your children are grown, and you are no longer able to qualify for welfare benefits. What will you do then?
Have you ever worked at all? How far have you gone in school?
My dear, unless you are born into a very wealthy family, there is something very honorable about earning your own living. A person can experience so much satisfaction from being a success in life, that is getting an education, having a career, and enjoying the benefits of a job.
Try working, you might like it!!

P. S. You do not have to sweat and kiss people's butt to please them, all you have to do is do your job and do it to the best of your ability.

Well, since you seem to be particular about the kind of job that you don't want (don't want to sweat, etc.) why don't you go to college and take some classes so that you can get a good job that you really like? Since you are on welfare it would most likely be easy for you to get financial assistance to further your education. But you really should do something. Sitting on your butt partying can't last forever. Just a thought.

I hope this was a joke. But just in case... Yes, you should definitely get a job. The ones who are paying toward your welfare are probably doning jobs where they have to sweat and/or kiss butt. If you are capable of working and are living on welfare then you should be ashamed of yourself.

Yes you need to get a job. First, however, you need to adjust your thinking. Believe it or not, when you work hard and sweat, you get satisfaction if you do a good job. You will never get any satisfaction or self esteem if you continue to sit around doing nothing. You can do a job without having to kiss anyone's butt, but you have to have the attitude that you are working for yourself and have pride in your work.

wow some tax payers would love to kick your butt for that comment! and the difference between me and ypou is this im a single mum with 3 kids. ive been into finance for 5 years i lost my job in may last year and i cant find any work. ive had so many interview maybe 1/2 a week. and been turned down because every one says the same "you dont sell your self enough"...so i realy want to work and no one will give me a chance...so i may join you soon and do what you do...party,doss,and sit on my butt!.

oh no what would make you think that, you definitely should sit on your tail and let others work hard so the taxes they take out of their check can go to your welfare allowance, dont even get up to find the remote to change the channel on tv hopefully you can yell for someone on the street to come in an hit the button for you or better yet fix you a bowl of cereal and then fluff the pillow you have behind you on your sofa and vacuum, wash you, wipe your butt....... and anything that comes to your very smart head

I think u should get a job because what r u goin 2 do when u get old. at that time u not goin 2 party anymore. u may it married and have kids. u can't always depends on welfare

Nah, stay a bum. Look forward to becoming homeless. Follow the sun & sleep on park benches. Stand in long lines for free healthcare. Be dependent on others for transportation. Consider your options when you really need something like food, medicine, drugs... Can you turn tricks to raise money fast?
