No, they can't but I bet plenty of people could give examples of persecution BY Christians of others.

Hmmm. I did 20 years in the USAF or maybe with the actual incontrovertible truth that it truly is meant to be denomination impartial, Christianity grow to be dominant noticeably at purposes the position a chaplain would do an invocation. (how will you invoke a god that is proper to all??? under no circumstances figured that one out.) I also worked in Passenger amenities, and each and each Friday the Rabbi chaplain would are available the morning and ask for a seat on the shipment one hundred thirty to Bosnia. each Friday he grow to be grew to grow to be down. He under no circumstances complained. I had to leap up and down and yell and scream to the powers above that it grow to be critical to get him on that flight, so he'd be on the floor and able to serve the Jewish squaddies earlier sunset, the Sabbath. ultimately they were given it after about 12 requests from me, they figured it out and they began to configure the plain with a seat for the Rabbi each Friday morning. I under no circumstances felt slighted or persecuted for my Buddhism or of their eyes lack of Christianity, so I truly have some difficulty believing that this isn't an remoted condition interior of this squaddies corporation or battalion.

The persecution of Roger Dehart, a biology teacher in Washington state, under pressure from Eugenie Scott, the NCSE, and the ACLU, Deharts superintendant ordered him to stop bringing in supplementary material from prestigious, peer-reviewed journals about the problems with a few of the icons of evolution. I expect thumbs down on this one as the atheologions are uncomfortable with this fact.

I have never been persecuted because of my religion. In America, we have the freedom of religion but I know that some people ridicule other people's religions which is wrong. Everyone has their own beliefs and I have had religious debates with many people but they have never persecuted me yet. I have heard that in some countries they do though.

1. Forcing children to learn evolution in schools, and using fear tactics to dissuade schools from teaching creationism (even though it's perfectly legal to do so)
2. Calling Christians "intolerant" simply for standing up for what they believe in
3. Harrassment by pro-aborts at PP clinics while we peacefully stand up to defend the inalienable right to life
4. Calling the Bible "hate speech"
5. Some atheists on Yahoo Answers R&S
6. Firing someone who won't work on the Sabbath
7. Lack of good Christian programming on TV - TV and Movies owned and operated by atheists/liberals
8. Shooting someone (at Columbine) because they believe in God
9. Liberal-controlled Universities that won't hire Christian Conservatives
10. The ACLU

Read 75% of the antagonistic answers in most of these questions. If that isn't persecution, I don't know what is.

Zimbabwe in the '90s the people that ran to the churches for safety were massacred and thrown in to the river were the river turned red. I still can't get that imagine out of my mind.
They crucify Christians individually in Iran and Iraq. China and Russia did their purging in the 20th century too, the salt mines of Siberia or just rotting in jail until death.

Here's an article for you to read:
"Christians in Pakistan continue to be persecuted for their faith. Many have been forced to work in brick kilns practically serving as slave labor. The following story of Azra Bibi a young Christian girl in Pakistan is both tragic and inspiring.
Azra was forced to work in the brick kilns at the tender age of 7. She had to help her mother just so the family could eat. They also faced the danger of being the only Christians in a Muslim community. But their faith held strong.
One tragic day a Muslim woman began the verbal attacks. Before long others women joined in and Azra’s mom was badly beaten. They were both taken to the brick kiln owner where Azra’s mom was murdered in the most horrific way. Young Azra was devastated.
The brick kiln owner had plans to force Azra to convert to Islam with the intention of marrying her off. But God had other plans. With the help of a courageous local pastor and support from Christians in the US, Azra was miraculously rescued with her debts paid. Plans are now underway to provide training and a small house for this courageous young Christian girl who stood firm in her faith through such difficult trials."

Toys get thrown out of the pram when anyone dares to disagree with them.
Many of them are so blinded by the notion that only they have the truth they just cannot see it when all you are doing is keeping the playing field level.

One time my cousin and I were turkey hunting and there was this big turkey and he was far away over there so I said "whitey, I can't shoot him yet" and he said "go over to him and don't scare him this time" and so I snuck up behind this one tree and he flew away because whitey was laughing so hard that he heard him. I think he did it because I loved the Lord.
