"Looking through the wrong end of the telescope."
The above quote means to look at life from a different perspective..
Sometimes it is necessary to do some nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living...And that enables you to laugh at life's realities..It is a great positive approach towards problems of life...
Looking through the wrong end of the telescope make you at objects smaller. Looking through the telescope the right way you see the whole picture..
Thus above quote gives a message that sometimes what seems to be a big problem, isn't that BIG !!

well i have never heard of it, but i would assume that logically maybe it means that instead of looking at the bigger picture, it means to look at only a small view of matter. (as obviously when you look through a telescope the wrong way, it has the opposite effect, its purpose is to make things larger/clearer however looking through it the wrong way, makes the view smaller and less clear...but thats just a guess

It means to look at something the wrong way, instead of making it clearer, it makes it less obvious.
