Um.. depend on how much you weigh at the time I think. I think that to do that healthy without putting it straight back on, I'd allow maybe... 9 months? half a stone every three months is a sensible target I thin. Doable anyway

Well 1 and a half stone is 21 pounds and you should not try and lose no more than about a pound and a half per week (if you want it to stay off)
So i reckon you should aim for 12 to 14 weeks.
You can achieve this very easily (I am currently doing it myself - 6 ibs since boxing day) by getting up one hour earlier and walking as briskly as you can manage for 45 minutes (round your local block or similar)
If you do this, and don't eat more than you currently do, or cut down just slightly, you will definitely find the weight coming off at about 1 to 1 and a half pounds per week.
Good luck with it.

Yeah it will depend on your current weight etc but 2lbs per week is a healthy amount to lose. If you lose it at this rate you are more likely to shed it and shed it for good.
So it would take you approx. 11 weeks.
Boots.com are doing a thing right now called Change One Thing. You Plan - Pledge - Persist online and it has a free online planner to record all your statistics at the beginning, during and once you have reached your goal. Plus it has lots of good tips. Ive put the link at the bottom if you want to check it out.
Good luck...and stay positive!

It should be possible to lose about one pound a week without too much trouble, so it would take about six months. Join one of the weight loss clubs and with their encouragement you will suceed if you persevere.
