Yes, apparently there's scientific reasoning that you will always walk to the opposite of your dominant side. i.e right handed people will walk left slightly. They showed it on Tv and 100% of people followed the rule.
(just realised, I may be wrong, it may be, you walk to the same as your dominant, try walking on a line with your eyes closed and see which side you end up)

Yes I have. My hubby is only 40 but went blind last year. In order to help him adjust, I have tried to do numerous things with my eyes shut. It helps him cause he does have very limited vision and tries too hard to "see" things instead of using his other senses. So then I can figure out what to feel for to get the job done(cause I can Peek), then I guide him till he gets the hang of it. When he gets in one of his moods(I can`t do it--I can not see), then nicely I can say Yes you can cause I can do it with my eyes closed.

Yes I have.. lol. Me and my best mate went up to the field near our flat and ran with our eyes shut. lol. all i can say is that with you eyes closed, remember to pick your feet up properly cos i tripped over and got a grass stain on my shoulder. ouch!
but yeah.. do it in an open space like a field and run for it. liberating!

Yeah, it's amazing how much spacial awareness you have. I even managed to make a cup of tea at home, no peeking!
I wouldn't recommend it out on the street though!
