If you're referring to an "E-Ticket," I'm not sure why there would be a question concerning it's legality. An "E-Ticket" is essentially nothing more than a computer generated "traffic summons" used instead of an officer having to write the ticket by hand. The program, initiated in Alabama, provided a quicker means to getting truck drivers with illegal roads on the road more quickly. The system is quicker and is less costly to the taxpayer!
