Okay. I am a college student and I have been e-mailing one of my teachers from last semester back and forth about things outside of school...In HER last e-mail she said I hope you have a great semester, so it seems like it would be a good time to stop because I don't have much else to say. Do I just stop or does something else need to be said??

When somebody emails a closing gesture like, take that as a clue that you don't have to respond. What would be the point of replying?

Time to stop for awhile and after the semester you can start again.

Thank her for emailing you all this time but tell her you need to stop now, and move on, to say nothing might have her worried and she may even think she has said something to upset you.

Ask to meet her in person. That should stop it from her end, or it might be the beginning of a whole new level.

No need to reply. If she has something else to say, she can always send another email.
