I would stop feeding the dog after a certain time at night so that his bladder can empty out before going to bed. Stop feeding him and watering him at around 5 or 6 depending on the time you get up in the morning (you will have to determine your routine and the times you go to bed and get up), take him outside last thing before you go to bed and make sure you give him enough time to go and then take him out immediantly in the morning before feeding him. Also, sometimes reducing the amount of area he can get into at night will help. If a dog is urinating or deficating in specific areas you may want to get some special cleaner for feces and urine and clean well. Also not letting him get to these areas at night may help. Good luck.

No matter matter how many times you wash the floor, the dog can still smell his mess. Basically he has marked his territory. Don't punish the dog when he has an accident, but get a carpet or floor cleaner that specializies in getting rid of the smell. If you have an unfinished basement it might be an idea to have a spot where the dog can go when he can't wait. Also it might be an idea to limit the amount of water he gets about an hour before you turn in. Just before you call it a night, take him for a walk, just a short one so he can get rid of what's left and then you should be okay. Good luck.

If the dog normally goes out side and has just recently started going in the house you might need to take him to the vet to see if he has a bladder infection. If it is a regular thing that he goes in the house you might want to try to get him a kennel for night time until it breaks. Dogs won't go to the bathroom where they sleep, if they do they have been in the kennel to long or their is something wrong with him. I would not recommend getting a pad for the dog to pee on, that let's him know that what he is doing is o.k. and it's not.

well the way my family and friends do it is, when the dog goes pee, then you dab its nose in it and smack it on the butt and with a firm voice tell it what it did wrong, and when it poops, you just put the nose close enough to it where it can smell it and smack and yeel with a firm voice also, then you put the dog outside, and soon the dog will realize that they get put out side for a long time everytime they are doing something bad and that they should start using the bathroom in the nieghbor's lawn..hahaha. no but it works, trust me.

Your dog probably has problems holding it all night. I would say if you get up in the middle of the night to pee, take your dog outside too. Otherwise, get a puppy pad and have it out just at night so that he knows that at night, its okay if he pees right on that.

he could have a bladder problem. you should talk to your vet about it. did you let him go outside before you went to sleep? maybe he just couldn't "hold it" for that long. you should let your dog out at least 4 times a day. is he leaving presents on special ocassions (company, ect.) if so he could just be nervous or excited. maybe you should get a doggie door. well hope this helped.

in the places he usually pees, put bowls of vinegar at the spots and he won't. also, at night, crate him so you when he gets restless, you can hear him and get him out, also then he will get used to alerting you and stop going in the house.
