My daughter. My daughter is 31 and my mother was 77 when she passed away 5 years ago. I miss her very much. She was a strong, healthy, intelligent woman who took good care of herself and looked much younger. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and in six weeks she was gone. Having my children around really helped. I was able to deal with the grief. But I don't think anything or anybody could have helped if I had lost my daughter. The bond you have with your child is much stronger, but I think it is stronger from a mother towards her daughter than from the daughter towards her mother. I have done some grief counseling and I can tell you from experience, it is always more difficult to deal with the loss of a child than that of a parent. So I really think that the love between mother and child is stronger.

That's so hard to even think about. I am sitting here trying to decide. I love my daughter the most. Why? Well my mother would do anything in the world for me and she is the kind of mother that sticks with you to the end. But my daughter is here because I put her on this planet and when she hurts, my heart literally aches----in my chest and both arms. She is the extension of me and though she may not feel that way toward me or we weren't OVERLY close, but close enough, I am positive I would take a bullet for her if I saw it coming. (Now I'm depressed) Good Question Though!! @8=(

My mother is 98 and my daughter is 15. I love them both equally. However, whomever needs the most help or support at any time is the one that gets the bulk of my attention. It changes all the time. Sometimes my mother, who is quite frail, needs me more than my daughter. Sometimes my daughter, in the midst of teenage angst, needs my full attention. I love them both though. If I had a dozen more daughters (God forbid!) and a dozen Mums, there would still always be "enough" to go around. The more that has to go around - the more there is to go around.

The love is differant with you mother it is a love that will last forever but with my daughter it is more powerful i carried her my body for nine months i felt her move, kick and heard her heatbeat for the first time. These were really powerful and mindblowing moments. Holding her in my arms for the first time knowing thatyou created this time bundle and she is so beautiful. I would die for both my mother and my daughter. The woman who raised me and the little lady i will raise every relationship can be magical given the effort and love.

I love my daughter much more. She's 22 and perfect in every way. I don't love my mother much. She's 85, and was passively instrumental in allowing my brother, 50, to begin abusing my daughter when she was 3. How can you love that?

Hello, first & foremost I love GOD first, then my 2 children are are 25 & 23 yrs. old. My husband comes next then mom & dad sister & brother & their children . You love your children unconditionaly , you also love you parents & family in the same way but its very different kind of love than for your husband & children; GOD comes first cause without him, I wouldn't have such a wonderful family !! Mom is in her sixties & we don't agree on some things but I love her very much !! My children are most important besides GOD & my Husband in my life .

I hope you or anyone takes offense to this cause I do not mean too offend anyone ever but :
May GOD Bless You & Yours & Everyone !!

Best Wishes
