Yes I am straight, I feel like I made a choice I like women and that's who I choose to chase and be with. I don't dig dudes so I don't chase them. (I.E. I choose not to date men)

Now since I'm not gay I go along with for them it's "Not a Choice" and (they are born that way) casue I don't know I'm not gay. So who am I to tell them.

What say you, fellow straights do you feel like you choose or you just can't help it your were born this way?

On a very serious note, I have an entirely individual belief on this exact subject. I believe "it's who you fall in love with". I think we can be attracted to both sexes and it's getting to know a person that makes us decide how we feel about them. Fun but not serious enough to love, smart but too geeky to fall for. Personality creates alot and sometimes there's a spark. I feel that at the right time in one's life, at a given moment, a person could fall in love with another person of either sex and the closer they become the more in love and committed they will find themselves. The more time they spend together, they may find things are remaining friendly and there will not be a romance but a friendship instead. Human nature is to label everything. Everything cannot be labeled. We say gay, lesbian, bisexual, how about just who we are. Not what. Makes a whole lot of sense to me. How about you?

That is the natural inclination. We are all born with the will to live. That doesn't mean that some people choose suicide. The will to life is natural.

When people do things that are unnatural, unless it is for the benefit of others, it is called a perversion. It does not have to involve sexual activity, although that is the most common manifestation. A person's appetite can be perverted if he chooses to eat decomposed animals that he finds in the road. Could anyone believe that this person was born that way? Could anyone believe that this is a genetic defect?

You don't have to make a choice, conscious or otherwise to do what comes natural. It is natural to do what is in you want to do, regardless of the rights and feelings of others. That is human nature. It is depraved. As civilized people, we are supposed to be considerate of others. This is not natural, but is certainly is not a perversion.

I say you choose to be what u want to be. I agree with you. I believe know one is born gay or straight. Its a choice and u choose it. I understand that u have feelings towards the same sex, but u choose to act on it. I find women very attractive. Sometimes to attractive to the point where i fantasies about them, but i dont act on it because i prefer men. I know if i acted on my fantasies i wouldn't like it. Id just want to try it. so i say yes it is a choice. Great question.

Nope, not a choice. I didn't wake up one day and decide I'm going to only be attracted men. We make the choice of whom to date and whom to have sex with...but being attracted to males, females, or both isn't a choice...I couldn't become attracted to women if I wanted to, although I could make the choice to date them and to have sex with them...that wouldn't change the fact that I'm simply not romantically/sexually attracted to them.

We're born gay or straight...our choice is in whether or not, and how we act on that.

I feel that you are born liking which ever sex or both that you do. The choice is whether or not you choose to act along those lines.

For myself, I was definitely born this way. I had crushes on the opposite sex starting at the age of 6. And my tendency toward the opposite sex has never changed. So, I think it is just the way we are born.

For men to be with women is a natural process. For men to be with men and women to be with women is nothing short of weired and serves no purpose in life. There is no reason for the gays to exist because to exist is to propagate and I have yet to hear of a man getting another man pregnant or the same for two women. It is just unnatural and serves no purpose.

If I tried to choose homosexuality, I wouldn't make it. I'm as straight as an arrow.
