I realy enjoy Appleton Estate rum. What are other good spirits to drink neat? Of course theres always scotch but at $200 a bottle it's a bit pricey. There is cheap scotch, but it tastes like dirt!

I'll have to look for that Appleton Estate Rum. My favorite neat drink is Don Julio Anejo tequila. It's not cheap but it's good stuff. Single-malt scotch like Glenlivet is also good but is also pricey.

In matters of taste there is no dispute. What one person enjoys neat, another may find repulsive. Only you can answer your question.

My personal preferences are Single Barrel Bourbon, lowland Single Malt Scotch, Anjeo Tequila, high quality gin or Dutch Vodka.

confident, a large number of individuals drink scotch neat. as far as detrimental organs, no moreso than ingesting the alcohol interior the first position. Now as far as digestive, once you've a gentle abdomen or ulcer, both take your drugs first, have the Maalox handy, or pass the drink fullyyt.

I would suggest a good scotch, Glenlivet, Laphroig. These cost about $30-$40 per bottle and are very good tasting.

Personally, All of them are best drank neat, besides gin, can't stand that stuff, like spraying bug-spray in your mouth.
Cheap doesn't necessarily mean bad, Captain Morgan Private Stock surprised me with its wonderful flavor and is $30 a bottle,
Johnnie Walker Black and Crown Royal Special Reserve are wonderful whiskeys and are only around $35.
