Most people do 4 years of active followed by 4 years of inactive reserve. Is it possible after completing inactive reserve to be called up say in a full mobilization?

Probably not in a full mobilization but possibly in a total mobilization.

Either way, I think you're safe.

Once you have fullfilled your 4 years active and 4 years inactive obligation, you should recieve your certificate of discharge by mail. Unless you walk into a recruiting office looking for employment...you are done (draft or no draft!)...nuff said.

No man theres no chance of you or "your friend" gettin called back up to active service unless u where an officer then they technically have u until your like 60!!! But if you where just an enlisted person like me then NO theres no way once you have completed your IRR time.

Only in the case of a full draft.

If you've done your IRR (Inactive Regular Reserves) you cannot be called back to service.

NO. I've seen people on this site who say they "know someone who knows someone" who got called up after they were done with their contract, but don't listen to them. They are full of crap. They can send you where ever they want during those 8 years, after that you are as free as you can be.
