There is a speaker in my land-line phone. Is there any way of saving the incoming calls and then play them.

Please help me.

Thank You.

Many answering machines will record phone calls for you with the touch of a button. Other than that, there are devices you can get that plug into your phone line and will record onto tape, or just have a microphone connection on the end to plug into your own computer or digital recorder. You can find any of these things at Radio Shack.

As for the legality issues mentioned by the next answerer, it depends on what state you are in. Most states only require that ONE party of the conversation is aware that they are being recorded. For example, if you're talking to a store and they're promising you all this stuff and you want to get it on tape, you don't have to tell them you're recording them in most states. However, if you hide a recorder in your basement to catch your husband talking dirty to his secretary or whatever and he doesn't know you're taping all the phone calls, that's illegal. Here's a list of which states require one party and which require two party consent:

There are devices like answering machines you plug into your phone line that will record phone conversations.

Keep in mind it's illegal to record a phone conversation if the other person is not aware it's being recorded.
