So my guy that I am dating he and I were talking dirty last night about well you know stuff. He know's I am a lady but a freak in between the sheets. He said's to me " I like the freaky stuff and I like the lady too" "You will make a good wife for someone one day" What did he mean by that? Right now he is not ready to have a relationship with someone nor am I really. We are just going with the flow of things here. He and I both like each other very much so and have lots of fun together. Am I reading in too much to what he said? Was it just a comment like I'm an idea woman or something? Or is he thinking that maybe (long way down the road I could be his wife). Your thoughts are appreciated. Thank youin advance.

Just to make things clear I am not a SL*T nor do I sleep around. My guy and I are exclusive with our physical realtoinship and have been together for awhile. We dont just go and have sex all the time, we do normal couple things too and talk about normal things. So when I asked my question I was wanting to know "IF" he possibly saw a future with me. We have a great foundation as we started off as friends and have built to this level.

Your guy friend made the statement as it should have been made and he's right. Sounds like you will make a great wife for someone down the road. He left it open as to not put any pressure on you for him. If it happens to be him in the future then so be it but he's smart enough to not count on it and I think he thinks you're the same way. He knows you both aren't ready and that's why he left it open.
You two are having fun now so let it ride out just like you have been. You both are too young to make a life time commitment and you both know it. You seem like a nice couple so take it easy and go with the flow like you've been doing and you'll be fine.

Are you sure you aren't ready for a relationship because it sounds like you are. If you weren't looking for a relationship, specifically with this guy, that comment wouldn't have affected you. Maybe you should evaluate that part of your guys' "relationship" before you figure out what that meant. Overall, though, I would just say he does not see marriage anywhere in the near future, so that comment was just a comment. I'm sure marriage would still be possibility but maybe not for another ten years or somethin :/

Well, I'm sure you know that it depends on what type of character he has but based off of just the facts I would definatly say he may be looking at you as wife material. Let me elaborate.. "You will make a good wife for SOMEONE ONE DAY." This can either mean that he realizes that you are of wife quality but he is not ready for that commitment (which is why he siad someone) or that he realizes that you are of wife quality but is not ready for that commitment just yet (which is why he said one day) Based upon these two thoughts you can judge the rest depending on his type of character since you know him better then us.. But the fact that he has accredited you too being a great wife one day means he sees it and knows it.. what he plans to do with that fact is up for grabs.. Good luck and be happy!!

I hate to say it, but dn't read too much into it. he is just giving u a complement.
Take the complement with pride, its coming from a good guy so let it ride.
U nvr know what he really might have been thinking. possibly about th both of u in th future.
But like I said let it ride an see what happens, ittl only make things fuzzy and complicated.

you make it sound like you two are only in a physical relationship. like you're in it to get laid. when you say that he is not ready for a relationship nor are you, you sound like a ho. if this is the case, one, your not a lady so dont flatter yourself, and two, HE MEANT THAT ONE DAY YOU WILL MAKE SOMEONE A GOOD WIFE. HE DIDNT SAY "ME" HE SAID "SOMEONE" . now if im wrong which i dont think i am based on how you talk, then you two will be perfect for each other. to you two it doesnt take being in a relationship to have sex so basically your both loose beings. what i think is that this guy is just banging you b/c you're an easy lay and what would he want that as a wife for.

I think it is a nice compliment, not necessarily a proposal. Just enjoy yourself and don't get too serious about that small comment. I think he is trying to tell you that you are a great person with good qualities that would make a good partner/wife. I think it is great that he thinks so highly of you. Just see where it goes. If it seems like he is getting too serious for you, talk to him about it and get things back on track.

Hmm, I have has the smae type of stuff happen right now, I am not sure if he is just being "really flirty" or if he is dead serius, and like you , I am thinking it about it alot (it seems all of the time lol)
maybe he siad it before he thought it thorugh, or maybe he was serious, I think in this situation a bit of both. Good luck, now wish me some lol :)

I would say it does mean he could see you in that way but at the same time I would let the comment go since some guys freak out when you bring up the M word.

He likes the attention you are giving him. If you enjoy his company stay on with the relationship and if you are ready for heartbreak city take this relationship a step further and satisfy his curiosity and get ready to be without him.
He will look for his type of woman eventually and you will remain his longterm friend. Good luck.
