I still prefer yoga.

Pilates will tone up your abs because you use your tranversus abdominus which is the muscle that flattens your stomach. it also works your thighs and butt which is why so many of the A listers use it. I don't know all that much about yoga but I do know from personal experience that pilates works!

Ive done yoga. It made me feel so much better. you feel centered and more focused. Also more flexible. When I started I had a hard time doing certain moves now I can do them all! It feels great. Highly recommended! Ive never tried pilates though.

Both of them are very good to help you tone your body. Yoga has many forms; some will work faster than others because they are a much harder workout. I think it is all a matter of personal preference.

pilates is the perfect thing to tone your body!!! i absolutely love doing it. i like the crunch pilates videos the best. i like them mostly because they tone my whole body at the same time. my legs are slimmer and my middle is a lot stronger.

pilates does work. The only thing is. It's such a calm workout that you don't think it's working and i got bored. but i did go down 2 sizes fom doing it.
