I'm convinced that there are dorks who go down the column marking "thumbs down" on everybody, or at least every answer but their own. I only give "thumb down" if the answer is totally off-topic, insulting to the asker, or completely inappropriate. Yahoo should limit "thumbs up" and "thumbs down" to 5 each per day, making people more selective about how they are used, and limiting "thumb spam".
Consider for instance the Leonardo diCaprio question a few weeks back...not only did the question itself get hundreds of up or down thumbs, but many of the responses from users got tons of unjustified down thumbs simply because people are ignorant/disagree/idiots or whatever. I actually try to help people here by answering their questions, but forum trolls do their best to spoil everyone's fun. So I guess there must be "thumb trolls", too, I suppose.

Honest to God I was going to ask that question yesterday, but I knew it would get a bunch of thumbs down, and honestly? I can't take that kind of stress.

Does not , but will make me think why they do that... Give a better answer next time, at least thnk of why they give you a thumb down, chinese has a saying, no smoke without fire, so pls take a look at your answer from a third person's view, don't let it get you down, instead, thnk of how you can give better answers.
