King size is bigger than Queen
King Size = 76" x 80"
Queen Size = 60" x 80"
There is also a California King that is not as wide but longer than a regular King.

King is larger, but the Queen is different by only a few inches. If you like LOTS of room, then I would say the difference would be delicious!
Go to www.bettersleep.org for more info. Sizes are given there. They advise that the King size mattress is 18 inches wider than the Queen. Both are 80 inches long. The King is equivalent to two twins/extra long.

A King. But right now I'm trying to find a way to get a queen size mattress up a twin sized staircase. I don't think I can. But definitely a King is larger.

standard king size bed is 72 inch width and 78 inch length
standard queen size bed is 60 inch wide and 78 inch in length
so by using simple math the king size is larger, after all it has to hold 3 heads !

The king is bigger than a queen, and bigger than the king is called a California King. I believe the California King is the largest you can get. Thanks
