It is ok to do that occasionally, but not everyday. Do you stay up late? If so, go to bed earlier. This will enable you to still enjoy the same amount of time in bed but get you an earlier start to the day. It is good to let your body wake up naturally, but if you want to get yourself out earlier try joining something that is going to make you have to get up and go like the gym or a cooking class. Or try getting yourself out of bed each day 15 minutes earlier than the day before.

Haha. I used to do that a lot, too.
What helped me to wake up earlier was getting a job that was early...
I still stay out late. I've figured I need at least 4 hours of sleep to make it throught the day.
But if I don't have anything to do, and it's my day off, heck yeah I'm gonna sleep until the afternoon.
I also use an alarm clock with a radio alarm, because that beeping/buzzing alarm really, REALLY puts me in a fowl mood.

It's not always been the case for you I'm sure, maybe the reason it's so hard to get out of bed is you don't feel motivated. I don't know the rest of your situation but one way to cure this is to have a good reason to get out of bed earlier so that you actually want to rather than have to.
As I said I don't the rest of the story but I would suggest if you're smoking something funky then that may be something you need to address if you want to get up in the morning, maybe just keep it for the weekends.

1. Go to bed earlier.

2. Get an alarm clock.

3. Get a job or another engagement that requires you to be up in the morning.

Hope this helps!

I also have this problem and it usually has to do with when I go to bed. I find that I generally need 8-9 hours sleep in order to be able to get up at a decent time, sometimes more. Try to calculate when you went to bed and when you got up and it should show you how long you need to sleep. Then try to go to bed earlier in order to allow yourself to get up at your required time.

Make sure to use one or two alarms to help you wake up at that time.

plann something exciting to do at 8 am and then at 11 too , have a meal after you wake up too, so that will giveyou energy; better take a shower too so that way you wont back to bed.
I don't know how old you are but I am sure you can find out something that you can do at 8 or 9 at least.
Sleeping long hours only makes you sick , and older,

You need to train your body to get to sleep earlier. Find out how many hours you can function on 6-7- or 8 hours .. after that you are being lazy. Go to sleep earlier and you will get up earlier...

Invest in an alarm clock. Or just get twisted around to a more acceptable schedule.

Yes, go to bed earlier. Dont feel guilty about it anyways, unless its interfering with stuff like work, sleeping is pleasurable for everyone, I love to sleep in.

Place alarm away from the bed, so you have to get up to shut it off.
