Let me say that I was raised christian, but now I have realized that Lucifer is the truth...anyone else had this experience?

Some of these people have mistaken Lucifer for Satan, which clearly is wrong according to a close examination of Hebrew myth. The first time anybody in history made an association of Lucifer and Satan being the same person is John Milton in "Paradise Lost" which was written hundreds of years after the Christian Bible (and is a work of fiction, I might add). The Bible itself makes no clear reference that this is so.
But, if I was to have to choose a diety to follow then Lucifer would be it. The guy is the first liberator, the first revolutionary, the first contributor to the concept of Freedom. Give props to the Morningstar!

He is referring to a verse in Revelation where Jesus says he is the morning star.
That's why chrisitans need to get their facts straight in regards to lucifer and what all that means.
Lucifer means light bearer, it is not used as a name like Jesus or Job.
It is a description.
Revelation 22:16
"I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star."
the morning star means lucifer means morning star... or light bearer.
People who think Lucifer is the king of all demons use this verse:
Isaiah 14:12
"How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations!
But in fact God is taunting the King of Babylon, calling him a morning star because the king thought so highly of himself. Just read the whole chapter and see.
So the big confusion comes from the King James Bible. They used Lucifer in some spots but morning star in others. Though the word is the same. Guess they didn't want to confuse Jesus with the King of Babylon so they used lucifer in one and morning star in the other...

Well in the garden of eden story he was the one that told the truth. Anyone with common sense can clearly see that!
As for being an actual being well I don't think so!
He is a metaphore not someone that is real!
