My daughter is adopted and I dont get to see her but I can send gifts,So Its very important that she likes what I get her.The only thing I will not buy her is Bratz.I want to hear about the Big gifts and the Smaller ones.Tell me what your daughter got or wanted for christmas.It would help me out greatly.

Gift Certificate for Build-A-Bear workshop, Anything you can find that is for little girls to make them feel grown-up... like play make-up, dress up clothes, a cool purse with accessories (toy phone, play money, etc.) Or maybe some accessories for her room... beaded curtains, chairs and table, repositionable wall stickers, etc that go with the theme of her room.

I baby sit for an 8 year old and she love make up. She has a whole suitcase full of it. Sephora has cute little girl make up that is not too expensive just go to sephora.com. Also a cute purse little kids love to play dress up. I bet you couldn't go wrong with the Hannah Montana CD or videos. My 8 yr old loves her! I hope this helped some.

Nine year old girls like dress up things. Make up! I think it's great that you do this for her. Many people would just forget and never try. You sound like a wonderful person.

A pair of Heelys! Or... Umm... Money. Barbies, video games, a small TV, a gaming system, maybe a sweater, Jamies, lol.

lego or some sort of building set... it would help with eye/hand corrdination, build imagination and problem solving skills.
don't get her something "girly". you never see her so how do you know if she's into that stuff? when i was a kid i hated getting those kinds of gifts from relatives who never saw me but expected girl = would love dolls and makeup
