What was it like, im sure pretty scary, but what did you have to do and did you get hurt and stuff? i want to know what its like since i get scared of plane crashes a lot. thanks!

specifically commercial airlines. did the positions and stuff in the booklet actually help?

a good friend of mine had to undergo a really serious emergency landing in dallas a while back and he said when the flight attendants were preparing the cabin and briefing everyone on additional safety/evacuation procedures like brace positions and etc. he said it really calmed a lot of people down seeing how calm and collected and capable the flight attendants were and that they made the pax feel less nervous and prepared for what may happen. luckily they landed rough and there was some smoke, but otherwise everything was okay, they were able to get out without even using the slide. stairs brought up.

Yeah, my boss man crashed his 1928 biplane about 7 months ago (he was taking off and only about 50 ft in the air). He broke both his ankles and cracked some ribs. He's all fine now though. It wasn't his fault, something broke on the plane.
