Luvdalz68: I am pro-life in all cases so I can't answer that.

Yes. I AM going to be the one to ask why he did it that way. If he existed and really did that he is evil and I don't want to worship him.

The discomfort of asphyxiation is rather small in the grand scheme of things, and no doubt the Almighty could give them the gift of anesthesia. Why the flood? Many people were alive, and the world was cleansed with water. (it took care of the dead bodies, which otherwise would have been a real mess) Noah was told to build an ark for the saving of his family. His obedience, and faith were rewarded, and thus he presents a picture of our being saved from the punishment for sin by baptism. The flood did a few other things also. The atmosphere was dramatically changed, as was the weather, and men began to live only about 70 years, rather than the many hundred they had been living. The Almighty might have more or better ideas, and I'm sure His way is best. The above are a couple of my thoughts on the subject.

Who says that God didn't have mercy on the children that died during the flood and just take them before the flood hit? And if asphyxiation was the method He used, are you going to be the one to ask the creator of your body, mind, and soul why He did it that way? Sounds like you have no fear of God. I wouldn't want to be in your shoes!!!

Because of the wickedness of mankind, God was sorry that he had ever made them and put them on the earth and He was filled with regret. So God decided to wipe out ALL these people He created by the Flood.

Assuming you are speaking of Noah's flood, this is why:

I know most people just think God was mad at everybody so He decided to kill most people off, and He unfairly chose Noah and his family to start over. W R O N G.
Actually, there was something much, much more serious going on: Per the manuscripts, this is it:
Before Adam and Eve were formed in the Garden of Eden, you read of the rebellion of Satan - he drew one-third of our people with him and there was a great war. God defeated satan, and destroyed that age that was; he could have destroyed the one-third who went on satans side, but what does it take to kill one of your own? that you love? So, God brought in this earth age, and you read of the refurbishing of the earth for flesh life, when you read Genesis 1:1 - It was not the original creation of the earth.
Satan had begun that war because HE wanted to be the only begotten Son of God - instead of Christ. Satan was created to guard the very seat that was reserved for the risen Christ.
Anyway, sure enough satan shows up in the Garden, seduces Eve, and God multiplies her conceptions - she was pregnant with twins. different fathers, two water bags. two conceptions, one pregnancy. It is all but cemented in the manuscripts that Cain is Satans son; Able was Adams son. Satan wanted to pollute the lineage - the pure bloodline of Adam/Eve - because umbilical cord to umbilical cord down the generations what was to come? The Christ child. And there you have satans second attempt at disrupting the plan. Now when God put Adam and Eve here, it was established that each soul was to come thru the flesh one time, born of woman. Several of them did not want to be born of woman - they chose to come to earth and seduce human women instead. You can read of them in Jude-the only chapter. Children were born of these flesh/angelic unions, and Noah was a preacher, who preached against them. They were called geba or Nephillim if you prefer - translated means "giants".
God brought on the Flood because he needed to destroy this influx of hybrids Thats why when you read the story of the Ark, it says they were giving and taking in marriage -thats who they were getting married to - not only that, but they were trying in any way possible to get Adams female family members to participate in it. What would have happened? The Christ child was to come thru that same bloodline - again, satan's #3 attempt at polluting the lineage. Thats why the flood happened. It was necessary.
And you look at those little babies and say aaahhhh...poor little baby... they were anything BUT "poor little babies" - God does everything for a reason. Always know that if something just doesn't seem right or fair in Gods Word, its just that you do not have full knowledge or understanding of it.

Terrestrial organisms were decimated not aquatic ones. Fish had to expend more energy swimming against the torrents. Thus, fish needed more food. God thinks of all things.

Or why did he allow the children of Sodom and Gomorrah be burned alive. Or the first born of every Egyptian to be slaughtered. Or all of us to suffer every day for that matter.I have found no answers that justify this in my mind...

Suffering builds character.

Since they had only been alive a short time they didn't really get to suffer. Blinking them out of existence wouldn't have taught them anything.

Because a Flood would leave evidence, whereas a miracle would not.
And where is it written that we are not supposed to have any trouble or pain in this world? Christ said that in this [sinful] world, we will have trouble - especially if we are obeying Him!
And why are you worried about babies who drowned 4400 years ago, when you abort your babies today?
