the way you look tonight (tony bennett does a nice version), or the judds sang a song called grandpa, but I'm not sure it's appropriate for a wedding... how about unforgettable by nat king cole? or let there be love (by the same)... maybe ask your grandpa a song he liked when he was younger... or if he's your mom's dad did he dance with her? if so maybe use that song and it could become a tradition (or your something "borrowed").. or I'll be from Reba mcintyre... that's a nice song..

What about My girl? Its not really a "little" girl thing, and has nothin to do with fathers, kinda a neutral girl song....Its not fast, but its kind of an upbeat version of a slow song that would be great to dance with your grandfather too. Good luck!

I cannot for the life of me remember the song that I used when I danced with my uncle at mine. But the Better Midler song, "Wind Beneath My Wings" just popped into my head.

What about someting instrumental that doean't have any words at all. That may be your best bet. Look for older songs. Maybe something done by Glen Miller.

There is a wonderful song, if you can find it, by Harry Belefonte I think the title is "Turn Around"
Turn around and she's tiny, turn around and she's grown....
It is a great song for fathers or grandfathers.
Good Luck! God Bless!!

How about "What a wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong? Nice and slow and probably from your grandfathers era.

How about you have him pick the song? Or ask your grandma for ideas. Something from their generation would be great.
