For all you Jerseyans..or is it Jerseyites?..anyway, jersey, not just the home of Bruce and Bon Jovi any longer!!!

A Mexican drinks his beer and suddenly throws his
glass in the air, pulls out his pistol and shoots
the glass to pieces. He says, "In Mexico our glasses
are so cheap we don't need to drink from the same
glass twice."

An Iraqi, obviously impressed by this, drinks his
beer, throws his glass into the air, pulls out his
AK-47 and shoots the glass to pieces. He says, "In
Iraq we have so much sand to make glasses that we
don't need to drink out of the same glass twice either.

The Jersey Girl, cool as a cucumber, picks up her
beer and drinks it, throws her glass into the air,
pulls out her 9-M, shoots the Mexican and the
Iraqi, and catches her glass. She says, "In New
Jersey we have so many illegal Mexicans and Arabs
that we don't have to drink with the same ones twice.

It is insulting. But, aint most "good" jokes insulting in a kind of way.
To quote Sigmund Freud, a joke is a situation where you can tell things that would be political incorrect in a kind of safe surrounding. Who takes offence in a joke might simply have no or a different kind humor. Tell a genuine british joke, blacker than black, to your mother/father in law!
On the other hand, there are some jokes which are just insulting without any deeper fun in them.

I don't live in any of the places involved, but I think it's insulting. I love a joke, but some people are going too far now, writing off Mexicans and Arabs as a waste of life. There's good and bad in every country

I thought it was funny, but I'm not from Jersey, but honestly I think it would fit for most areas of the US

Well it wasn't insulting to me...I thought it was funny....if somebody thinks it's insulting, then they are lying, because everyone tells jokes that have racist remarks....would that be the right term to use (racist remarks?)?

I find it amusing. If this is insulting, what about blond jokes, polish jokes. I think if someone is looking for something to complain about, they will find it no matter what!!
