What would you do if your sister is pregnant and you find out that she...?

has offered her self to get high but she is telling you she knows for sure that it is your husbands brother's baby? serious answers only please.

This is a difficult situation for sure. Your sister needs some help, she obviously has a drug problem. I would hope she quits using for the sake of the baby. As far as your brother in law is concerned I would ask your hubby to talk with him and let him know what is going on (or does he already know) If she was giving herself out at the time of getting pregnant their is a good chance it is not his baby and he should be made aware of it, if that is the case. I would see about getting your sister some help with her drug problem. Don't listen to those who say it's not your business, family situations like this are your business. Good Luck

OK so she is prostituting herself for drugs but she is able to identify the father - is that your story?

If your sister is not more than 3 months pregnant I would beg her to get an abortion rather than give birth to a disabled and soon to be mistreated child. If it is too late for that I would find out if your state has some kind of child endangerment laws for fetuses. If so, I would tell her that unless she gets clean you will turn her in.

The other thing to do would be to call the police if you can figure how when and where she will be using illegal drugs. Explain why you are calling them.

Whose baby it is doesn't matter. It's the future of this poor child you would be worried about.

Your question is a little confusing. But I think you should first try to get her some help for her substance abuse issue. If the baby is your brother in laws - that is something that she needs to work out with him. You and your husband need to stay out of that aspect. Especially if they are old enough to make and take responsibility for their actions. If they are teenagers - you guys must get involved.

Tell her that if she is not going to stop getting high you will report her to the police. Tell the brother. How old is the sister? If she is underage report the brother.

Um...first of all..id be confused...second of all...I would ask your husbund to ask his brother if he slept with your sister...then...if he does not want to tell your husbund then you march your booty over there and ask him yourself...THEN..if he STILL doesnt listen then have you, your sister, and your husbund confront him....AND...you need to sit down with your sister and tell her that she is pregnant and she does not need to be getting high...she shouldnt be getting high regardless....if she is going to raise a child.....she needs to conplete reform her life not around drugs and partying but around child care and love, and caring....hope i helped

it's her to tell i know you want to do something, but it's her decision to tell them what's going on, what she did was not right by any means, it won't be a good circumstances for the child either, i would tell her she will regret it if she doesnt tell anyone what's going on.

i would defernatly confront him, but speak with your husband first and tell him what you are planning to do and then maybe the both of you can sit and talk with him together.
