It is not that they reject, well some actively do, it is that it is so hard to just say I take this on faith alone. Faith is an intangible and very hard for some of us to grasp. I still wonder if I will left out of heaven for the wonderings and questionings that seep into my thoughts.
So I pray many times a day for the strength of faith.

That's rather silly, it's easier to believe that god has the power to forgive sins without having to die in the process, besides, god is immortal and divine. and the OT has some contradictory verses about the original sin.
Eze 18:2 Ezekiel, I hear the people of Israel using the old saying, "Sour grapes eaten by parents leave a sour taste in the mouths of their children."
Eze 18:3 Now tell them that I am the LORD God, and as surely as I live, that saying will no longer be used in Israel.
Eze 18:4 The lives of all people belong to me--parents as well as children. Only those who sin will be put to death.
Eze 18:5 Suppose there is a truly good man who always does what is fair and right.
Eze 18:6 He refuses to eat meat sacrificed to foreign gods at local shrines or to worship Israel's idols. He doesn't have sex with someone else's wife or with a woman having her monthly period.
Eze 18:7 He never cheats or robs anyone and always returns anything taken as security for a loan; he gives food and clothes to the poor
Eze 18:8 and doesn't charge interest when lending money. He refuses to do anything evil; he is fair to everyone
Eze 18:9 and faithfully obeys my laws and teachings. This man is good, and I promise he will live.

there'll continuously be those who use the be conscious "Christian" in a known experience. it could be an body of ideas about existence or the way others should be dealt with and frequently refers to most excellent a "good" existence. Their perception has not something to do with underlying ideas of God's plan of salvation via Jesus. they'd have heard the plan yet have rejected it as reality. it may actual sound good to three non-Christians because they could proceed to believe interior the idea that their good works will outweigh their shortcomings interior the right. It satisfies their want to believe in effortless words in themselves truly than coming to the archives that faith is going previous self and saving faith is stumbled on in effortless words in Jesus Christ.

Prove it's real.
Can't? Thought so.
Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

When I understand that everything the churches teach about Jesus is part of a made up story meant to keep people in line and collect their money so that the priests can have their little boys on the side and pay off gay prostitutes with meth.

When you really come to understand Christianity you realize that it's essentially a fairy tale. We "reject" it because of course Jesus doesn't "offer" anything: he is long dead. No one at all "died for our sins and was resurrected".
Hope that helps you understand better. I strongly suspect, though, that you'll just close your eyes more tightly and keep on chanting your incantations.

The god of this system of things is Satan. He blinds people to the truth.
If, in fact, the good news we declare is veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, among whom the god of this system of things* has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that the illumination* of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through. (2 Corinthians 4:3.4)

Even if I wanted to, that would not be possible
I don't reject Jesus. I know the bible is false.
In much the same way, I don't "reject" Santa Claus. But I am sane, and I can't make myself insane, even though believing in Santa would be fun.

There's no reall documentation that he ever existed, and there's certainly no proof of any god, nor of eternal life.
Why not just believe in leprechauns instead? Same thing.
