I'd also like to add...if it were from exercising it would be in both breasts, right? It's only in my left one and the area around the nipple feels firmer but no lump. I'm not pregnant either, as I have been on the pill for 2 years, I've never had this problem before. What could it be?

You sound like me... anytime I notice anything going on with my body I kind of freak out and ask other people what they think...
This doesn't sound serious to me, it sounds like an irritation of some sort. Of course keep an eye on it for a week or so, and it doesn't improve, then you can see a Dr. and explain your financial situation to her, a lot of facilities now offer care that is accomodating. It's great that you are staying aware of any changes in your breasts, though, that's important. Could be a tiny muscle that got pulled, who knows. Just check in with it for a little while, and see if it gets any better. Good luck!

It sounds like it could be mastitis...(I've had it before) if so, your doctor will prescribe antibiotics for about a week. It's not really serious, but will just get worse until you deal with it. You defiinitely need to see your doctor.

But anyways, the doctor you get your pills from, that do the full body exam, next time when you go see them to pick up your pills ask them to check it out. Good luck.
