I have a friend who's an absolute flirt, I have told her about this and she said "Ouch"! It's true though. Her being flirtatious is annoying me. I have avoided her ever since because I cant stand her "damsel-in-distress" act. I hate seeing her and hearing her voice. She annoys me so much. Arggggh!!!

I am a flirt, yes I am. I am also married to a flirt. Yes he is.
I get annoyed though when some one else flirts with someone near me. I think I dislike that part of myself so much, that, when I see it in others it becomes annoying. So I have started NOT FLIRTING.
To me it seems very sluttish the way I see some women putting on the "damsel in distress" routine, they are only in it to feel important and wanted.
There may be another reason for this: deep down inside you are jealous of her and the way she uses mens needs for protection to her advantage and you cannot do it as good or not at all.

I have a friend just like that. It does get very annoying. What I try to do is just avoid going anywhere with her where she might have a chance to flirt. I'll make sure that none of our guy friends are going to be there and I take extra care to make sure that my boyfriend isn't around cause she shows no shame in flirting with him in front of my face even thought he can't stand her. The best thing I can say is that you just try to do things with her where there will be as little male contact around as possible.

She just doesn't know how to flirt, and it sounds like she is really over the top. If you don't like the way she is acting, try not to spend a lot of time with her.
