Do u think that true love only happens once?

Love between two people is often confused with sex and/or mutual dependence. There are numerous people happily married but not in love, and there are those who are love things about their partners but do not really love their partners. Quite a few relationships are held together out of fear of loneliness and not necessarily love. I feel that the love that is often described between two people is a very rare thing indeed.
When you finally find that person--that "one"-- who seems to complete you, willing to stay when others leave, and means more to you than your own existence, then you are in love. However, such a thing cannot last without constant renewal and a lifelong commitment. I have seen occasions where two people find each other, but fail to realize what they had and they let this love slip through their fingers. They walk through life like zombies, just doing what must be done without any belief or confidence within themselves or their life. Some even have fortune smile upon them so much to where several opportunities to find yet another true love are used up and discarded.
Love can occur more than once in a lifetime, but it is still rare because some fail to recognize what they have until it is gone.

well if true love happens only once then what happens when the person you truely love breaks your heart and you move on does that mean you cant truely love again? i believe in being in love with everyone that you want to love but true love is when no matter what you will never stop loving them even when you want to hate them you cant i dated this girl a year ago and ran into her the other day and well i couldnt (as much as i wanted to) be mad at her she was one of the closest relationships i have ever been in and also my first love i have seen her go through a lot of crap and see her majorly screw up but that could never change how i felt or still feel about her

I believe that love can happen more than once. I dont think that there is really true love. In any relationship you must work at it to keep it alive and going. I dont think it is possible to just meet somebody and say this is my true love and you will live happily ever after, without doing anything.

No, Bcoz few of us feel fatuation most of the times and get into love but that is not LOVE and going to be matured we find that LOVE has some diffrent values and it is something diffrent from
Attraction, Beauty ,Charm .
We cannot say that True Love happens just for one time actually it depends and it is not a very small question i think that it is a very great topic to debate upon.

God I sure hope not. I did find my true love 12 years ago but she dumped me for her boss. I would have done almost anything for her. I don't so much have hard feeling for her now cause she's happy with two children but I do hope there's another out there that will make me feel the same or better toward after all, the world has 6 billion people on it and the odds are good for another.

I use to think so. But I'm so in love with my boyfriend that i have now its great. but it take a long time for me to find love again. so no i don't think true love happens once.

Yes, True love only happens once. Many teenagers mistake love for "lust" which just builds confusion. The person who put's that ring on your finger...and the day you exchange vows...Is a high chance of being your soulmate, forever.

Yes. Once your heart is broken, it is difficult to trust the opposite sex again. But you can fall in love again just not true Innocent love. Once bruised twice shy.

NO. True love happened to me when I met my husband then it occured again when my son was brought into this world. There isnt a limit of true loves.
