Why hellish burning torture for crimes that do not deserve it? Why could he not have given you mild pain for a few days? Seriously. If you tell me the just punishment for ANY crime is hell, then you are evil.

Father K: How can they choose to go there unless it exists? How can they choose to go there unless it is an option? Who made hell and who allowed the option?

God doesn't. You're obviously thinking of Jesus, the kind and loving god. No one suffers eternal damnation in Judaism. Christians borrowed that concept from either Mithras or Zoroastrianism.

(it is truly one in all my different solutions, notwithstanding it worked for this so i only C&Ped it right here, haha) you're making an rather good factor. would a father carry his baby's provide up a hearth to punish him? of direction no longer! God does no longer deliver people to be tortured and conflict through perpetually for eighty years or a lot less of sin, no remember how undesirable. Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10 say that after we die, we do not imagine. we lose knowledge, our minds and concepts quit. could you sense discomfort in case you had no concepts or knowledge? no, so an portion of eternal torment does no longer even make sense. the observe "hell" truly got here from the observe "Sheol" in hebrew and "Hades" in greek, same observe. Sheol actually skill "undemanding grave of mankind". this covers all people, so it ought to no longer be an portion of torment otherwise which could advise good people bypass there too. that's a state of being, no longer an truly position, actual or religious. so when we die, we only die. we dont bypass everywhere. yet John 5:28, 29 says that persons will be resurrected Psalms 37:11, 29 says the righteous and meek people would stay continuously on earth with out any wickedness!

God doesn't send people to eternal Fire and torture. Hell is not Dante's Inferno and the misconception that it is has long been debated. If you look at the basic nature of God then you know that God doesn't want anyone to go to hell and those that do only go because it is their desire to do so... Hell is the Absence of Gods Grace and yet knowing that He exists. Compare it to Chocolate cake. You know you like it you know its in the cupboard but you can't get to it no matter what you do because you turned your back on it and locked it away.

Why not? Eternal punishment for eternal sins. Is the wrath of God offensive to you? GOOD!

so if God is not the benchmark for justice what is? You? Mankind? Mankind gets wrong verdicts all the time and sends people to jail that never deserved it. And how many times has man imprisoned and taken away peoples rights for selfish reasons? And how many times does our court system let people off the hook and let the rich and powerful off with a slap in the wrist? You may want to rethink that chief!

God on the other hand has eternal standards and can see ALL. He has given us a lot of advanced warning but instead of listening to it, people like you mock it. Real nice response.

There are many kingdoms in our Fathers house. Or many levels of glory in heaven.
"Eternal life" is to dwell where our Father is, but for those who choose to not accept Christ and try to keep the commandments there are other levels of glory they will be Able to enter after judgment. And yes their is a Hell, were people can be cast out with Satan. They are those who rebel against God with a full knowledge of what they are doing.

FOR ALL!!! sin is wrong in the eyes of GOD ALL!!!! there is no such thing as a little white lie if you don't tell the truth you are a liar if you steal something no matter how little or big it is you are a thief if you break the law you break it you are a criminal i could go on and on but the point of it is FOR ALL have sinned and come short of the GLORY of GOD that if you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that JESUS died on the cross for the remission of your sins than he is faithful and just to forgive you of your sins and all unrighteousness then you now have a defense on judgment day {he casts your sins as far as the east is from the west never to remember them } choose you this day whom you serve

The only way I'll believe in a literal hell, with eternal torture and punishment - is if God himself sends me there. As a christian, I don't see how you can reconcile this type of punisment with a loving God.

God *sends* NOBODY to Hell. People CHOOSE to go there by denying His existence and His Truth.
