Well, the food's delicious and I know a guy at my college from that country. His name's Onur and he's very cool and laid back. Extremely smart too. So I guess I have a positive impression of the country, although I've never been there.

It's a lovely country, but it's a pity that the people are completely obsessed with selling you carpets at all hours of day and night!

I like Turks. I and my ex-wife lived in Izmir for a year and a half. Great place, friendly people, excellent food. I'd love to go back.

I knew a Turkish girl here in the US named Semra.

She was beautiful...........alas, but married :(
