I liked Blood Brothers and Mamma Mia the best.
Avenue Q is the best 'recently made' musical I've seen.
I liked Guys & Dolls but only cos Nigel Harmen was playing Sky at the time we went to see it, hubba hubba!

West Side Story
Les Miserables
Phantom of the Opera

I can't tell which I like more. Each has such hauntingly sad scenes and tunes (Somewhere, A Little fall of rain, Phantom's 'solos') but also really good choruses (Tonight Quintet, One day more, Masquerade). It's the perfect marriage of story, character emotions and music I think that really does it. Or maybe I just like tragedies..

i am not sure if this is a musical but i love the Michael flatly dancers...river dance and all that....i went to see them once and it was awesome, next time they are here in Liverpool i will definitely go to see them again, they had standing ovations, onchores (sp), it was brilliant....plus it was a full house and the atmosphere was great, you should go see them, they are brilliant

Les Miserables. it's the longest running musical. they've been there for 23 years, it only proves how good they are.
