I'm building a house and I have't to run my own water line

Code is 3/4" CPVC, though some areas require 1" or may require schedule 40. They make a run that is 20' with a coupling flange.

If I were you, I'd go with the hose. It is more expensive, but can swell 300% an not burst, so it is excellent if you are worried about freezing in winter.

The hose has an expander that is inserted in the end and expands the end to accept the connector. Usually this is run to single spot where all the other individual connections flow from.

Myself, I use CPVC.

Good Luck
