Just be prepared, you may pay more in interest for a month because your billing cycle will be longer.

Absolutely. Call your credit card company and tell them that you need your bill to be due on the 1st and 99% of the time, they will do that. I called all of my credit cards and had them all come to me to be due on the 15th and none of the credit card companies had a problem at all with changing the due date.

If you want to change the pay date of your bill you need to contact that company and request it. They should have no problem doing that for you.
