Im 22 and havent had a boyfriend for quite a while... i mean for along time. I dont even know how to flirt. I have a friend who I think who is very good at it, because she gets a guy by hanging around with them a lot, and demanding things from them. Like carrying her bags, running errands. She also talks to them a lot, and I mean a lot.
All these things are the opposite of me. I have a lot of guy friends but I'm always being treated as one of the guys. Plus I think talking to guys a lot, having them carry my stuffs, picking me up from work and letting them come with me when running errands is ANNOYING! If I was a guy Id leave that kind of girl immediately. But the guys at work seems to like it. They're very much willing when my friend asks for their help. Is this flirting? I tried copying her style but I get annoyed with myself when I do so, I feel like Im trying hard to be cute. Blaaahh!! :P

It is a type of flirting. Flirting is simply any action that is performed to get the attention from a person that you are trying to attract.
Hell saying come here is flirting if that is what you use to get their attention.
Find your own form of flirting that is comfortable for you.

Whether you know it or not, you'll be fine. Your friend however, sounds like she's using the power of her femininity over all she sees. Not to say that it's necessarily a bad thing, but when it's used too much, it will work against her. The unfortunate thing is, that neither she, nor the guys that she's using to do her dirty work, does not see it yet.
What she's doing is offering the possibility of sex without actually committing to it. Nothing wrong with that, it's very old school, but it's not (as I assume you think you do) for everyone. It's not the only way to flirt. She'll probably have an entourage for a long time and she'll take advantage of it until she unhappily commits to a relationship that she doesn't want to be in.
Your independence will be your greatest ally. Keep talking with the guys. Keep being yourself. Find your own style of flirting. The one who enjoys and appreciates you for you, will be very special and very lucky indeed.

Play up the beauty card....make it very obvious the next time you plan to see each other dress classy but sexy and make your make-up a little more dramatic. (just don't cake it on though) Think smokey sexy eyes and pink gloss. Make sure he can tell you have dressed to impress him and him only. Wear a nice flowery, flirty perfume like j-lo or pleasures (not too heavy) just enough to let him notice when you say hi by giving him a big hug. Don't go over board with the cheesy flirting, play it cool, look your best, and like I said look great for HIM. Make him notice you. I would also think about maybe inviting him to a good movie you know he would like. Wear one of your cutest dresses (cute not slutty) and maybe some heels. A cute top, skinny jeans and heels can be very sexy also. The dress just shows a little more leg. My #1 tip ....BE CONFIDENT! it will get you everywhere with guys. Be confident in how you look, speak, and act, towards him and everything else specially when he is around. A woman that can hold her own in conversation and social situations with grace and intelligence is much more attractive than a girl in a hoochie skirt with clear heels

If a girl is sexy (check that - even remotely cuterish and has a semi-nice body that flirts with him), a guy will do anything to try to get in those pants. Including ALLOWING a woman to flirt him into doing things for her and with her. Don't try to emulate her style, that means your jealous. You be you. And if you have to every now and then go out on a limb and be the aggressor then you just may have to do that. I wish you luck in the future.

Yes It is flirting.. Playing a damsel in distress is flirting.. I also was in the same suitation as u are now a couple of yrs back..until I met my sweetheart.. I know how u are feeling rite now.. Don't worry .. U will find Mr.Right and don't need to use those tactics to lure good men...

From my experience, such girls are the ones that get all the attention and boys would be running after her to help out when she just says "ah".
But what I've seen is that when they come to want a very serious relationship, those girls are not always on the top of the list... and I could be mistaken.
Whether you have been getting dates lately or not, make sure to only BE YOURSELF, if you need help in something, ask for it... if you like depending on yourself, do that in front of them...
Just be yourself and someone will open there eyes one day... they have to...
Always take care of your looks (and I don't mean over dressing and putting too much make up), but make sure to always go out looking cute.
If you like someone, give them that sparkly look with your eyes ;) and if they like you back... they have to notice...

Im the same way, friends with all the guys. I dont even really get along with the girls that well. And no its not flirting, shes converting them into slaves. Please, for your own sake, dont do that. Just let them know your interested by your body language, how close you sit, and little hints in the things you say. If you have one singled out and you dont get a response, be blunt. Good luck.

well i dnt know if is flirting but yuck i dont like it. i mean if i have my hands full i will tell my boyfriend to help me or is heavy but not just for the hell of it. seem annoying to me 2. just be ur self dont copy anybody cuz what miggth work 4 her may not 4 u. is like that we are different and if ur not confortable with it then is not gonna come out good. be sexy with ur own style.
