There are no diet pills. The only ones that are sold these days are complete scams.
1. They claim to have herbal formulas, but, surprise.....any herbal formulas are not regulated by the food&drug administration, so they can have anything in them, even cotton.
They can also make claims that are completely false with no supervision by any office.

2. They always contain small print that says "weight loss is accomplished by healthy diet and excercise", which is true.

Making an effort to move just a little bit is a step in the right direction. You haven't said how overweight you are, but I would recommend speaking to your doctor about it, and get the okay from her/him before possibly doing damage to yourself.

Have you been dieting strictly? If you stay on a diet for more than 2 weeks, your body wants to shut down and hang onto the calories, so I would recommend that if you have been on a very low cal diet, that you raise your calorie intake for a week. Add 500 calories per day for a week, then go back to your old plan.

That tends to jump start your metabolism a little. I would also recommend you do it every 3rd week. The 3rd week is also a good time to increase your activity level SLIGHTLY. All of this helps your metabolism become more efficient.

Don't believe any fad diet or gimmick. Just appreciate how the human body works, and give it what it wants....movement!

If you are really hungry, don't worry about taking appetite suppressants either. Keep skim milk and water around to drink when you feel hungry. (You need to drink a ton of water every day anyway).

I saw a news report about an all natural supplement the other day called Hoodia. You can buy it at GNC and other health food stores. It's not really that expensive. I plan on getting me some and trying it if I can ever get to a GNC store.

Anyway, there was a doctor in California that did a study on this supplement. He had 100 people and he gave half of them a placebo and the other half he gave Hoodia. He told them not to do anything different than what they usually do. Don't diet or excercise any more than usual. At the end of 6 months he found that the people who took Hoodia lost an average of 28 pounds over the 6 month period.

They have found this plant in some third world country. It's the leaf of a Hoodia tree. They found that the people who ate these leaves were less hungry and less thirsty than the people who didn't eat the leaves.

Anyway, my main weekness is chocolate. The best thing about Hoodia is it comes in little chocolate cubes so it's like eating a treat instead of taking a pill. I'm not sure where you are from, but here a 60 day supply costs about $30.00. Not too bad if it works.

Good luck in your endeavor to lose weight and I am going to wish myself good luck as well.

I think you just need to be patient. It takes the body a while to change the regime. I pretty much keep my weight without major problems but now and then (sometimes when sick, sometimes after Christmas - when I eat excessively and don't move enough) I gain a few kilos. Not eating after 5 is all I need to do but it always takes my body a while to start losing weight (I usually see the first results after 3 weeks but then my kilos go quite fast).

Also about 6 years ago, I was 9-10 kilos heavier. I had tried diets but of course they didn't work. Then I gave up dieting and started eating regularly: breakfast, lunch including desert, fruit for snack and light dinner - vegetable soup, cooked veggies with bread.. (I'm a vegetarian). I didn't even check my weight, I just gave up. I checked after a year and I was 8 kilos lighter without trying :) My point is - don't be too drastic, 1 candy a day is fine, even reasonable.
Good luck! (Fu*k the pills, be natural :))

Many people ask me how they can slim down. I recommend that people eat right and exercise. However, if they would like a little "help", I suggest using natural Hoodia (it's important to note that not all Hoodia works well, even if the bottle says "pure" or "standard").

The Hoodia sold at http://tinyurl.com/y389on is in my opinion the best Hoodia on the market. It's pure, has no side effects, and they give you a free 15 day sample (there is a $7.99 shipping and handling charge, but they also give you free recipe and diet guides). Fantastic results have been seen with this particular Hoodia.

I am an overweight pharmacist and trust me - if there were an effective and safe diet pill out there I would be skinny! Diet and exercise is the ONLY safe way to loose weight. Eat right (a good balanced diet), get as much exercise as you can, and get plenty of sleep at night. Don't look for shortcuts!

There are several different kinds of weight loss pills one popular all natural diet pill is Hoodia. It comes from a cactus. Another alternative whice is not all nautual and needs to be prescribed is Phentermine or adipex (same thing) this is a strong diet pill that will leave you not feeling hungary. Good luckk in whatever you decide.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

If U were on TV sometimes last year, Oprah featured Hoodia Gordonii as the ultimate weight loser of the past 2 years. Am sure it was a thorough review that made her take up that product owing to the overwhelming number of people who have tried, endorse and recommend it. Read more about it from online articles...

I took diet pills, my friends took diet pills. They didn't like them. i loved them.

"Hydroxycut: hardcore" is what we took.

It has alot of caffeen as well as other chemicals. It gives your body a really weird tingling super energy feeling. I generally felt stronger and need to be active. When first taking them i started shaking if i didn't do anything for a while. It gives you a serious high, and increases your resting heart rate intensly. When i would run or work out while on them i noticed my performance increase.

The bad.
For me, it made my motabolism "spasm"... i don't really know a better word for it. Stomache cramps occasionally... and it "cleaned out my system" (alot like a laxative).
I don't think they really helped me "lose weight" as far as, if i hadn't changed anything, i probably wouldn't have lost weight. But taking them i was definetly able to push myself harder and create more of a motivation so once i stopped taking them, i knew what my body was capable of and i was able to overcome the mental part and keep working out hard without them.

hope this helps.

I HAVE BEEN ON A FEW DIFFERENT DIET PILLS ....THE PROBLEM IS THAT YOU MAY LOSE SOME WEIGHT BUT YOUR BODY WORKS DESPARATELY TO GAIN BACK WHAT IS LOST....IF YOU CAN LEAN MORE TOWARDS HIGH PROTEIN & LOW CARB. VEGETABLES YOUR WEIGHT LOSS WILL BE MORE PERMANENT ....ALSO DRINK PLENTY OF LIQUID---WATER BEST---THEN SOFTDRINKS WITH NO CARBS-NO CALORIES----EXERCISE MORE TO POINT OF SWEATING AND DRINK ABOUT TWICE AS MUCH AS NORMAL--THIS FORCES THE LIVER TO FLUSH OUT EVEN MORE FAT.....BECAUSE THE LIVER DETERMINES HOW MUCH WATER TO RETAIN----AS STRANGE AS IT SEEMS ---THE MORE YOU DRINK---THE MORE IT WILL FLUSH FAT WITH THE WATER...........GET A COPY OF 'THE GLYCEMIC INDEX'---YOU WILL FINALLY UNDERSTAND WHICH FOOD TO AVOID & WHICH TO EAT----BELIEVE ME THERE ARE A LOT OF SURPRISES----FOOD THAT YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD TO AVOID-----WELL MOST OF WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD THRU YOUR LIFE IS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE---STAY AT 50 OR BELOW AND YOU WILL FINALLY HAVE CONTROL....THE INDEX GOES FROM 6 TO 100----IT WAS RESEARCHED BY CANADIAN DOCTORS----IT WORKS...............YOU WON'T BE HUNGRY
