no they do not, they run your credit to see if you back owe the IRS or something like that. You will get it, but the fees are terrible try turbo tax input you info on there yourself it is easy and you will get your money within two weeks deposited in your account. we did that loan thing it ended up costing total of 300 and some bucks.

They might want to run your credit to see if there are any outstanding loans or garnishment orders....meaning lets say YOU or your spouse owes child support. Normally, the Feds would be able to take this money frm your taxes...obviously this would pose a problem for the H&R block if they loan you 3k (or whatever amount based on what they think you are going to get back based on your tax stubs) and then you get your refund snatched by the FEDS, now you owe H& R block. They are hoping that they can prevent this from happening by seeing if any information like this is own your credit report.
GOOD LUCK
p.s. Please dont file for a loan from them. YOu could end up giving them 300 or more hundred dollars for this loan. WHy not just file now and wait the extra month and then you get the money and the $300.00 that you would have given to them!

not a bit, they don't run your credit! It's based on your tax returns or 1099, don't worry!
