Through an act of free will, I chose to submit all power, authority and rights to Jesus Christ.

So yes, but no, because I chose to do it. It's what the Bible talks about when it says being a "bond slave" to Christ, it is a choice.

What is the extent of the dependency?

No! Not necessarily!

Besides, it seems to me that no one can relinquish all forms of freedom; some, yes, but definitely not all!

I wish to add that we all are dependent on some one or something to exist in this realm. Who plants the crops; who cooks the food; who builds our homes; who manufactures our vehicles to get around; etc, etc, etc?

The concept is unrealistic!

Are freedoms in your opinion being able to say, thing, and do what you want? Once you receive Jesus as savior he will show you truth for he is truth. What you think are freedoms are Satan's lies.
