I to was about to Freak out on you and then i read #10 and they are all absolutely true....I LOVE my Tori...she is so hilarious...I live with two guys that love to party and they will have parties and Tori will say hi to everyone then wait for someone to get off the couch and then she steals it right from under them...or she will climb up in their lap and wait until they get uncomfortable...Thank you for the great smile I will have a better day knowing that others get the enjoyment that I do from my pit bull

I too would like to say thank you for this post. Like one of the other readers I was starting to get upset at the headline until I read the list. My sister has a pit and I now have two of her offspring. They are only 2 months old, but I am very much looking forward to raising my dogs to be kind gentle animals....and proving to people that pits do get bad reps because of mistreatment. Thanks again for that wonderful list!

I LOVE my pit like she was my first born. It breaks my heart to see so much breedism around. I'm a strong advocate for the breed and in helping resolve ignorance with knowledge.

Firstewall, I think youare rambling on and on and on. Nevertheless, Bit bulls are harmless if they are treated right by loving, careing rightful animal owners. The Bit bulls have been given a bad rap, cause of the treatment they are getting by being used by drug adicts who use them for games, and fighting's to make money. Bit bulls are loving animals when treated right!

This is the best top ten list EVER!!!!!!!!! thank you for being one of the people in this world that realize what wonderful dogs pits really are!!!! I just wish you hadnt used the word "vicious" in the question,we have enough problems defending our wonderful breed and ANY negative thoughts caused by this hurts our chances in our fight to keep them alive.....

I have never owned a pit but my sister in law breeds them. Hers are amazing.
Last night on my way home from work, very busy highway, lots of semi's, A dog ran out in front of my car I slammed on my breaks, but did knock it. It scared me to death. The dog was stunned and ran in and out of traffic.
I finally lured it into my car, and in the light I could tell it was not hurt, but very skinny.
I have tried to find it's owner, But from the shape it was in, I doubt it has had one in a while.
It is definitely full blodd pit, and he is a doll.
After eating several bowls of dog food, he crawled in the bed with me and went to sleep, so unless I find his owner- count me in on the pit owner club!

RSO, relenquish the spot?! you are one lucky bully owner!! it usually takes a crowbar to pry mine out of the warm spot haha. i love this list! thanks for the smile!
and the happiness in group settings is so true. i had mine on the train into the city the other day. people were looking at him a little leary. then a girl next to him started to pat his head. all 70lbs of him climbed (or at least tried to) into her lap! the entire train car was looking and laughing!

You forgot about the part where they warm your place on the bed and then completely relinquish that spot so you don't have to get in a cold bed.

i agree 100% i had just asked a ? yesterday to see how many people do or dont like pits. most people do.i am making it my personal goal to inform people on their ignorant pitbull facts. i love the list!!!
