I realise that some people, when they answer a question, the link they provide is a link that is anti to the religion asked about, and some people, who never even knew the answer, make up some facts so that they look really cool. report me if u want, but some people on Yahoo answers is trying to learn, and it is rude to give wrong facts to students. You might confuse a person who has the intention of learning. And, if u dont know the answer to a question, go fly a kite.

Some people hate other religions and think they are false. They believe this to be the truth, so they try to teach it to others, instead of researching the religion people are asking about. They believe they are doing the right thing.

And, Necromasty -- you use "Americans" and "Christians" as though they were interchangable -- and the only bigots. I'm one, but not the other -- and I've seen bigotted postings from non-Christians, too.

Yahoo answers is in someways a very deceptive site however, if you can muddle your way through the menusia you will find reasonable people with insight on the topics that you have questions for... The fact that some people link negitive sites to their answers only serve their agenda and should never be taken serious... However some links are worth looking at and should be given some attention. I usually look for those things that will lend to my knowledge of a particular topic. Bashing others I never subscribe to and will usually not give a second glance. Good luck

But we will be bored if we can only get serious to all the questions here. While it is true that some people show a large degree of disrespect to others, others just give humorous answers.

Again, while I agree that some pose questions for learning (students etc), common sense will tell that some answers are not worth considering - especially the one-liners.

Persecution is not only anticipated, but welcomed since it bears out Jesus prophesy.
If you will note, the materials used do not originate with the publisher in total. But come quoted from other sources as well.
Many are quotes from highly educated sources like Doctors, lawyers, older publications, new science discoveries, and many others.
I like to use the societies website as proof. Go there. Prove me wrong! But enjoy your visit.
Over the years many have come to believe as we do because they were so sure they were right, and we were wrong!
They make fine teachers now, and we dearly love them.
Condem me if you like, but enjoy our website!

The ex mormons are the worst at this. They recognize extra ideal- I actual have seen them say stuff that they recognize for a reality isn't genuine. at the same time as i think that someone is attacking us, i visit respond to mockingly or fantastic the misconceptions for the great thing about different individuals, at the moment regardless of the reality that I answer mockingly. Edit** The call of the "Mormon" church is definitely "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints it has continuously been the Church of Jesus Christ- by no skill the Church of Joseph Smith or Mormon.

I do know the answers to a lot of the questions posed, its just that some do not, nor will they ever, like the answers.

and sceptics by their nature read the texts a damn sight more critically than believers.

Understandable, but don't try to learn ANYTHING from a place like yahoo answers. If you really seek to learn, find a mentor!

Because Christians are stubborn and think that their path to spiritual enlightenment is the only way. Looking to another religion to answer another religion's questions is exactly how they should be treated, but Christians are stubborn and they always will be.
