i have always been the type of girl who becomes so nervous with guys that i like that i just can't talk to them anymore.recently i have found myself attracted to another guy but i am not as uncomfortable with him as i have been with other men. i feel i can talk to him and we get along great.we have common interests so that helps.i get the feeling he knows i like him but he doesn't really treat me any different.he doesn't try avoid me.is this chemistry?

I am the same; I also get really nervous with this girl I am deeply in love with. I can talk to him when there are only both of us, but I can't do so when there are a lot of people around.
Based on my personal experience, if I like a girl, I will treat her in a very special manner. I would not scold her. I would keep offering my help. I would text her as often as possible. The best way is to just ask him personally about his feeling.

There are two possible reasons: 1. He may only see you as a 'good' friend and nothing more 2. He may feel the same way and not be sure how to say it and so he just tries to show you by spending time with you thinking you may realize. The only way you will find out how it really is is by confronting him. Since you are shy, write him a note and find out how he really feels about you. You'll never know unless you do because body language can be ambiguous at times. P.S. If he does not see you in the 'girlfriend light', do not feel rejected, you still will have great chemistry as friends!

Don't ask him out yet. Try to find out more before making a move. If it turns out he doesn't feel that way for you, your friendship MAY be ruined. And I don't really encourage girls to make the first move. It just makes them seem desperate. which guys do not like.

Just be dare to ask him what he has in his mind for you ?
And if u like him as a friend then talk with him very freely and without any haste. It will help you to understand him better .
