There are good people and bad people. All religions have their good points and bad points.
I have a copy of the Koran, The Bible, and I have read the Bagavagita. I have muslum friends of whom are some of the best of humanity. If you show respect you get respect.
This doesn't change the fact that the pages history drip with blood from both christian and muslums. I was standing in line at the Arkansas state fair grounds. There was a muslum event at another building. The man in front of me said they should go back where they came from and other negitives. I was ashamed, and I realized that americans, have again sterotyped another group of people with contempt. My wife is Japanese and her parents were intered in relocation camps during world war two.

I think it is the same as with any other religion, except that speaking openly about views on Islam means asking for a lot of trouble, so why bother thinking of it?

Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. I don't think any more or less of Muslims that I do of Christians, Buddhist or any other religion.

I do admire anyone who is religious, being able to blindly follow a religion purely because of the faith they have in their God. I couldn't do that (hence the fact that I'm an atheist)

since you ask my view here it is:

every religion preaches its own brand of self delusion to its followers, islam is no different.

All religions offer their worshippers a moral code to follow Islams moral code is not much better or worse than any other religion, the worst aspect of the moral code is that it encourages people to martyr themselves for what they believe is the right cause, knowing that whatever sins they committ will be forgiven.

You only look out for your own, Islamic charities only help Muslims. Where as christian charities mainly help Muslims as well!

Islamic brotherhood is the same as white brother. You both blame others for all your problems.

Anything in the media that is not in favour of the muslims, is either jewish propaganda, as you claim jews own the media.
Even though, hardly any newspapers printed your prophet cartoons. (and you still rioted!)

You claim the west is so dirty and islamophobic but muslims still flock here.

You claim, that muslims are discrimated against as people think you are 'all' terrorists. Where as, christians are murdered in islamic countries and churches attacked everytime Bush opens his mouth.

You claim islam is so perfect and correct but you choose not to live in Islamic countries.

Very nasty cult...

very dangerous in thats around the world where it holds power its followered obey what the leaders say absolutely with no care to fairness, kindness, warmth etc.

It is very sexaully repressive with a extreamly anti affection moral code which treats gays, lesbians and single people especially girls in a very bad way.

Often killing them for seeking affection in what is termed 'adultary'

Its very much into male dominance and suppression of female sexaulity, covering up females, forcing them into arranged marrages. Many of its countries even mutilate female gentila s to end any pleasure they could get from sex so only doing it as ordered to to produce more young.

Dangerously into producing as many children as possible via early marraige and treating females as only there to make babies.

Hence it no allowing sex amongsts single people where it would empower women.

Very old minded in its law still supporting medieval barbaric punishments mostly for things around the world not deemed arong at all where couples are brutally killed by stoning or slow ahnging...

A very nasty cult into hacking off limbs, brutal killings.

One which fathers and borths and husbands are supposed to control females.

Around the world wherever it has power it brainwashes kids by repetitition, cencorship too all but its teachings and very strict teaching never to quetion it.

Its the worst of the abramic relgions...

Only being male based whilse pagan systems have male and female figures.

Sexisit, homophobic and cruel to animals.

It makes no allowances for common sense.

ie its understandable that pork ws not the healthiest of meats in the deserts but now we have freezers and better cooking common sesne would change the rules but faith makes no allowances.

the religion, like all religions are a good set of morals to live by. usually practicing peace to all. unfortunately the rules are open to interpretation, and the belief that the religion is the only correct way and are intolerant to other beliefs. this causes all sorts of chaos and blood shed.. most wars are down to religion

It's false, just like Christianity.

Frankly, if Islam were the dominant religion here in the US you'd see us quickly turn against it the way we currently fight against the anti-American Christianity. As it stands right now, we give Islam a bit of a break because Muslims and Atheists share the status of beleaguered minority.

Annoying, and dangerous in the same way that fanatics of Christianity are dangerous. Led by arrogant fools who seem intent on playing "oppressed" while they have a stranglehold on the populaces under them. Intolerant, provincial, and convinced of their "righteousness". Just like the other Abrahamic faiths.

i do not favor eternal existence. I only favor an eternal sleep. except that eternal existence is a customary existence the position i'm yet an invisible rigidity that would locate the universe for eternity, with out having the flexibility to sense discomfort or actual feeling.
