I went to my doctor yesterday and he gave me a shot of decadron to help me feel better. I do feel a little better, but I have a HUGE headache. Is this a common side effect? I also feel a little dizzy when I stand up. Thanks.

Sounds like the cause of your headache and dizziness is probably what you are being treated for - not the decadron. It could be a reaction I sopose, but the symptoms don't sound allergic related.
Decadron usually doesn't cause problems for me or anyone I've known who has had the shots.. I notice this is at least your 2nd decadron related question, so if you are really that worried about it call your doctor, or go to the emergency room. Feel better!

Decadron is a steroid and YES THEY DEFINITELY CAUSE HUGE HEADACHES!!
