One of the best questions I've seen!

yes, he is beyond the help of any psychotherapy! He's jealous, angry, wrathful, on a power trip, egotistical, and the list goes on.....

Mostly, he's totally insane. I'll make humans but they must worship me, believe in my son who died for them....if they choose not to believe that my son died for their sins, then the humans--humans that i made out of boredom or loneliness?---will burn in hell for eternity.

He seriously needs help. lol

good question, God, no God, Heaven, Hell, Jesus, no Jesus, Adam & Eve genuine or pretend, introduction vs. evaluation whoow. How about this, if there's a heaven there is should be a hell, if there's a God, there should be a devil, if there is nice there should be evil, you recognize up/down, in/out, left/proper are you with me? Opposites.. My challenge to you is this, what length or unit or rule are you utilising? What i think is nice you should imagine is undesirable and Viceversa. How does society as an entire ascertain between both? We ought to apply a wide-spread rule of length which arrived from the understand God, the Bible. do not take my be conscious for it examine it out for your self, even our present Judaical device will be tracked again to Moses interior the Bible. i desire this provide you so foodstuff for theory. e mail me in case you want.

God as descibed in the Bible is proundly egotistical and psychotic. Supposedly this being grants humanity free will, then decides to cast into hell anyone who dares to use it. It has a chosen people (implying that everyone else on Earth is a waste of space), and a special punishment for being unfortunate enough to not belong to this "in" group. He places outrageous demands on everyone, including commands that directly contradict one another, and feels no obligation to set an example. He commits mass murder and genocide out of pique, and commands his followers to do just as much. As long as it's according to his say-so. And he lets his followers continue on with conquest, murder, and oppression in his name without a word of complaint.

Yet he demands absolute obedience, constant ego-stroking, and insists on being adored as a "merciful" and "loving" god.

Sounds more like a tempramental war-chief or totem than a creator of a universe.

The human "leaders" of religion definately are. For example.....God gave or wants their particular country to have nuclear weapons. I'm sure this statement about God wanting/giving nuke weapons would drive he/she up the wall. After all that hard work creating light and the earth. Plants and animals......

God is love. (1 John 4:16) People are broken. When we look at the amount of suffering in the world it is tempting to question the goodness of God, but `in Him there is no darkness at all` (1 John 1:5)
Please consider reading the book of Job. It is about a man who in the face of unimaginable suffering curses God, but later sees things differently.

The god of the bible was created by bronze age men and resembles a tyrant of that age, to us in the 21st Century West he would seem to be that way but you only have to look at Saddam to see what sort of person he was modelled on.
