to make them shallow instead of standing up but the cat doesnt make any noise like its hurt and it doesnt look painful so do I tell him to stop or not?

Tell him that it can damage the cartilage of the cat's ear, and he should stop to avoid really hurting the cat in the long run.
It also makes it harder for the cat to hear, while it's down like that. If the cartilage becomes damaged, it might STAY down, making the cat hard of hearing for life. The ear is also less protected when down. Lots of minor health risks.
Basically, it doesn't really hurt to do it once (though I wouldn't, without reason) but it can cause long-term problems nonetheless.

While it may not appear to hurt, I would stop the behavior. This behavior can lead to others that may cause harm to an animal at some point. Discourage this type of behavior firmly, and model positive ways in which to interact with the kitten, so that your brother then follows your lead.

It's probably just annoying to the cat but can still break little blood vessels in there.
Rotate your brothers ears, slap him in the back of the head and tell him to stop it.

YES TELL Him to stop. But the cat might like the ears moving around cause it moves wax arouns and breaks it up. After he does it you should clean out your cats ears

You didn't say how old your brother is. anyways tell to stop it the only time to handle the ears is when you are gently cleaning them , keep your brother away from kitty, doesn't seem okay to me,he may try something more harmful if not kept in check. be careful of him.

If the cat is OK with it and your brother is gentle, let it go. The cat may actually enjoy it, does he purr when your brother does this? He'll let your brother know if he doesn't like it any more.

Rotate your brothers' ears! Ask him how he likes it and if your lucky they'll fall off.

haha..it doesnt hurt em, it's just like tryna bend your ears. As long as he doesnt pich them.
