I just grew my facial hair out again, and its time to finally clean it up and get it in order, as i look a little scruffy right now. I keep mine really short, so thats not the hard part, the problem is the line of the bottom of the beard. Using my electric beard/mustache trimmer i usually try and make the line run from an inch or so below my ear down to the chin, but i find it incredibly hard to trim a straight line. And even if i feel like i get one side right, the other side never matches up well, so i spend all this time going back and forth trying to get them perfect. Is there some easier method or trick to doing this i might be overlooking? im just getting sick of spending 2 hours in the bathroom to get it looking what i feel is right. thanks

Go get a pencil eyeliner and trace the shape you want, follow it with the trimmers and then just wipe it off or shower.

It works with my husbands sideburns...should work with a beard too!

take a piece of paper and fold it in half. Cut a semicircle to fit the area you want to trim. Hold it under your chin and use it as your guide. It should be even. Use a small trimmer that can be found at any Sally's Beauty Supply store.
