i will be driving there in march for a ski trip and i'm just wondering.

I hope you're going to Whistler, or Quebec cause there's no snow in Ontario.

No, technically you don't need a passport right now, not until 2008; but they'll hassle you if you don't.

Yeah, don't forget the beers. We Canucks make good beers; it brings me chills when I go to a Bills game and have to drink Coors.....yuck.

As of january 2007 they have changed the regulations and all US citizens need a passport to enter Canada or Mexico.

For driving you do not need a passport until 2008. You will need your birth certificate and drivers license.

Driving you are still fine with a birth certificate. And everyone else is right regarding the beers. Fantastic

also bring back some beers from the Duty free shop, Molsons are good, and they have flav. up there that you cant get here
