I have been using Pirated Microsoft software for the last two decades..... I am acting as Karma for the theft of software coding commited by Mr. Gates. Anyhow - I have done online banking, Amazon ordering, and just about all forms of things a hacker could use to thier benefit. Of course there are assholes everywhere, but if you are smarter than the average asshole....And know what to look for, you can simply tell if a Pirated copy of Windows has been altered. Some copies tell you they have been altered in order to streamline the operating system. Microsoft has recently bragged that Windows 10 is going to get rid of Pirating - but here I sit typing using a Pirated copy of Windows 10 Pro, with all the updates. Might I add that I have updates that my friends who have installed Winows 10 the honest way - dont have. Addtionally - Microsoft bragged that in the future people who pay the most will get the updates first.....But once the updates are released - there are plenty of sites that have the updates availiable for download the day they are released.

Folks that want to be honest . Hats off...I dont judge the way you choose to spend your money - But Microsoft is a crooked company . so I have no issues with stealing from the thief who stole it. If one is familiar with torrents.... You can live a life of free software....

Who ever you are and where ever you are I would highly advise you not to do this!!! DON'T DO IT!!!

There is a law about copyrights etc. Microsoft is first off a copyrighted name, and anything that comes with the Microsoft logo, name or trademark is only ment to belong to the origional buyer, (owner of the software). (The lay does state that the origional owner can make backup copies for there own use only, but can Not Sell them, Give them away or transfer them to another computer. You or the other person are setting your self up to getting caught.

Once you place the MS O/S Cd into your CD-ROM drive you will be asked for a Key Code Number. If per say you have one and it has been used before you will not be able to do the install legally. You most likely could install it but it has to be verified on line as a valid O/S by Microsoft.

Keep in mind that Pirated Software is THEFT! You mast likely in time will get caught and there is a chance you will have your day in court to explaine how you got the CD and where.

Good luck. Don't join the Flock that don't fly! Jail birds don't sing a happy tune at all.

LOL! Your system is already corrupted by a pirated version of an expensive operating system. Why would you think you are entitled to free updates to software you didn't pay for? But go ahead and try.

... why admit something like that?
Windows Updates will usually detect that you don't have a valid version of Windows and prevent you from downloading the update. There are of course ways around this (do a Google), and you will be able to download the updates.
But to answer your question, yes it's safe.

Depends on whether MS has the CD key in their data base. If they do, the update will not work and you'll get a bad version warning continuously.

you can get security updates for your windows alright with no problem but, you won't be able to get the windows free download programs. So by all means get the security updates and don't forget to download SP2. Good luck. Mikie.

Microsoft will not let you update from its website. It will tell you that you have an illegal copy and that you need to buy a genuine one

it wont get corrupted but during the validation process they will catch you.

suggested workaround: try downloading updates onto another computer and installing it to that machine.

yeah its fine... all that stuff is automated - once you've entered the product code/key, the system considers your windows to be legitamate, and all updates will download.... Ive done this myself before, so I know it works.
