But in a lot of Muslim countries, women are considered property of there husband. They are not allowed to drive, or even go outside with out a male. What is up with women rights there?

it's preferable to being treated like a second class citizen the way women in muslim countries are. American women have far more rights than muslim women.

I hate it. I don't watch much television for that very reason. Hollywood does not accurately portray the vast majority of the people living in America. My husband would not allow anyone to call me a bit&^. We do not use that word in our house. Hollywood keeps pushing the line when it comes to foul language and sex. Everything is sexualized on television. It is unhealthy for our kids and I strictly monitor my childrens television viewing. Don't judge Americans by television. It's not an accurate portrayal in TV at all.

Those are not most Americans. They are usually men that grew up in ghettos with no father figure, and a mother who slept with several men. Some of these "men" made it big in the rap music industry, and have been idolized by young males in the same situations. Believe me...I would NOT keep quiet.

I don't use the word. I prefer to call women "sweety" an endearing term. I believe that women are wonderful and a gift to earth and men. I believe that men are Beyotches.
These are My American beliefs.
I believe in the all noodly Flying spaghetti monster(pbui)
These are my religious beliefs.

I'd rather be called a bit** and have freedom, than to be a Muslim woman who is merely a possession that is abused by her husband and told what she can do and what she can't, dogs are treated better! you know, if you don't like America, you are free to leave ANY time!

In my country we NEVER EVER call women like that. Not even in case of a domestic fight/argue/quarrel - not to speak about saying that on TV.

I an my family have not had a antenna connected to your TV since about 1994.
We choose what comes into our home on DVDs...
We do not need to hear or see the degrading presentation on television.
The networks wonder why their ratings are not going up? We have turned them off. No cable or satellite either.

I don't keep mum. It's rude and inappropriate.
Also, would not watch a TV show that uses the word over and over. Nor would my husband.
